MISSION - VISION - GOALS


 
The mission of Eden Youth and Family Center is to provide and support a comprehensive array of services for the children, youth and families throughout Alameda County with the vision of creating a multi-service agency that would serve as a hub to draw critical services to enhance the economic, social, educational, and health needs of Alameda County, particularly Southern Alameda County. As a non-profit community-based organization, EYFC strives to enhance existing services and add new services to meet the needs of the 300 individuals it serves daily.
 
 
EYFC HISTORY

Eden Youth and Family Center, originally named Eden Youth Center, began providing services in 1977. It was originally located at the Kimball Elementary School site in North Hayward. The Center moved to its current location in South Hayward, 680 W. Tennyson Road, in 1979. This site was formerly Tennyson Elementary School.

SERVICE PROVIDER
 
Kidango operates the Child Development Center at Eden Youth & Family Center for Children ages 0 to 5. we provide a nurturing and safe environment for your child to prepare them for Kindergarten and a lifetime of learning. Kidango offers low-ratio classrooms while children learn, explore and discover through science, math, language, music and the arts.
