Eden Computer Clubhouse

Empowering youth in South Hayward.

Our Clubhouse is a welcoming place where we foster a sense of belonging for all. This is especially important for those who don’t feel at ease in their school or neighborhood, our space becomes their safe space.

Unlock your potential through art and technology.

Welcome to our community of tech enthusiasts, learners, and creators! Whether you're a photographer, a digital artist, or someone just starting to explore the world of technology, here is a space where your creativity and collaboration can thrive. We’re more than just a physical space; we’re a vibrant community where ideas come to life. With the guidance of mentors, every lesson has a foundation in leadership and social-emotional learning, helping us all build curiosity, and explore our personal growth and development. Our clubhouse is where individuals from all walks of life gather to learn, share, and create using art and technology.

“Being a clubhouse coordinator brings numerous benefits and gratifying experiences pivotal to our youth's personal and community growth here in Hayward. Through organizing events, workshops, and activities, we actively contribute to fortifying the connections among members, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. .”

“Hear Us Shout”

Born from our Clubhouse conversations about how difficult it is to live in Hayward, a group of teens worked on this documentary for over six months, hoping to spread the word about how gentrification has affected their community. They came together to understand gentrification and reached out to their community so residents could share their experiences. The team learned how to tell the story and use all the equipment involved. We celebrated their work with a video premiere with family, friends, and popcorn to view their final product. See what they created!

IMPACTS 3.0 Mentoring

We provide the safe space for young people to be vulnerable, share their feelings and find true support from peers and caring adults. We incorporate both trauma-informed care principles, social-emotional learning and restorative justice practices to create an environment that allows for true healing and growth. Our Clubhouse is a welcoming place where we foster a sense of belonging for all. This is especially important for those who don’t feel at ease in their school or neighborhood, our space becomes their safe space.

“Becoming a mentor allowed me to share experiences and aspirations, and my connection deepened with the youth. I then understood the transformative impact on the lives of young individuals through mentorship and how that could catalyze change by breaking down barriers and unlocking doors to a brighter future.”
